Joe had a business trip to Chicago so the girls and i decided to tag along since it's summer time. We ate at the Rain Forest Cafe despite Macy's horrendous fear of the Elephant and gorillas inside. We had to find a seat where you couldn't see either of them. That was tricky.
But our trip was not complete without a trip to the American Girl Store. Sophie has been once before with her cousin Mattie but now that Macy is older and into it it was so fun to take them together. We had brunch with their dolls int eh morning and then shopped afterwards. They were in heaven. 
I don't like putting pics of me up here (for obvious reason) but it was wonderful day with my girls so I have to include it. I just love my girls!

We stayed at this cool hotel that Joe's work set up for him. Very Modern. Sophie loved this in the lobby.
Macy spent her time building towers with the pillows. None of us wanted to get back in that Ford Focus (rental car). I am sure it is a good car but way to small for a family. We were so irritable all squashed together. Next time we'll take our van and get reimbursed for gas.
